Description
After my last “How to make a (unfinished) Showreel” showreel - which was more of a short film in a weird way, I wanted to change things up a little.
This reel is a collection of my works of the recent years, arranging them in a nicely presented way. In the future I plan to make a second reel, which will function more as a tech showcase, focusing on breakdowns & the behind the scenes.
I often think about the problem that as a tech artist, the focus of my work is on the inner workings of systems & tools. Making stuff visually pleasing is often not my main focus. But I still want to present my work in a pleasing way, therefore I got back to designing more in the last year. I still sometimes struggle to find the balance between going off the deep end in tech topics & making it look good in the end!
The goal of this showreel is to excite people about the works & spark them to approach me or read more about them on this website. Some of the things shown are found in my Project Spotlight. If you have any questions on how things were done or my work in general, feel free to reach out! I really like to talk about these things.
Works like Letter Labs & DOORIS are a bit more niche, but almost everything seen in this reel lives somewhere on this website. If you want to learn more or asked yourself “Why is this website so strange”, I go into detail there.
My old Showreel
